Leapfrogging is the basic idea in which Disruptive Technologies and approaches are put together in a comprehensive to create synergies that reduce the cost of development while providing equal or similar QoS or Quality of Service as compared to much more expensive services in more mature markets. An example of this is Cell Phone which of course are rapidly saturating emerging markets in a way that was not possible with land line based phones.
